Investlesprom Group: priority forest development projects implementation is going on

  On october 4-6 in Saint-Petersburg an impressive XIII International forest forum  took place, Investlesprom group as usual took part in it. 

The company celebrating its fifth anniversary this year exhibits its exposition at the show “Russian regions. Potential of Forest Industry Complex” as part of joint stand of Vologda region for the forth time already.

- It is only sensible for us to take part in joint stand organized by Forest complex Department of Vologda region,- Alexander Boikov , JVC “Investlesprom” GR&PR Department director, explained- In the territory of the region, in Sokol city Investlesprom’s investment project aimed at profound wood processing capacity increase is being implemented. The project of a priority status foresees step-by-step modernization of Sokoljskiy wood processing mill during three years. The mill production capacity will increase by over three times making it possible to manufacture some 105 m3 of glued beams per year . Investment volume is over 1 bln rubl. About raw materials provision for one more big investment project of Investlesprom , “Polar Bear” , this one in the territory of Karelia, spoke Fedor Grabar, executive director of JVC “Investlesprom” “Forest resources” Division in his speech at the forum. He made his report “Sustainable forest management characteristics » at the round table «Intensive forestry conducting and improvement of forest development efficiency”. - Sustainable forest management  means intensive forest exploitation as proves “Polar Bear” project ,- underlined Fedor Grabar. - Competition for raw materials access will form zones of forestry intensification in the radius of existing PPI enterprises.
