Investlesprom and Forest stewardship council laid out forest avenue in Bittsevskiy woodland park

The day before professional holiday – Foresters’ day- employees of JVC “Investlesprom” Moscow office and the governing board of Forest stewardship council (FSC™) in Russia and CIS laid out an avenue out of 21 larch seedlings in one of the biggest woodland parks of Moscow- in Bittsevskiy forest. New avenue , as it is written on memorable plate, is laid out in the year of the company’s fifth anniversary and in honor of Dmitriy Maslov, its first General director.
Investlesprom, an amenable forest user and leaseholder , has been engaged in tree-planting permanently and professionally - said Oleg Arminen, JVC “Investlesprom” General director , in his speech.- But our forest lands are located far from Moscow- in Karelia, Vologda region and other regions. So why not to plant trees in Moscow, where headquarters of the company are? Besides in international year of forests and in connection of professional holiday! We addressed the administration of Bittsevskiy park and Forest stewardship council with this idea where our initiative was approved.
– Furthermore, Oleg Arminen added, such an action for a “forest” company is one of the best way of celebrating in a proper manner its professional holiday. Particularly in the year of the company’s fifth anniversary, which was not easy and simple for us, it should be admitted. We laid out the avenue in the honor of Dmitriy Maslov, the first General director, with the name of whom these five years of Investlesprom group activity is connected. .
- Many years of cooperation tie together Forest stewardship council and JVC “Investlesprom’ ,- pointed out Andrey Ptichnikov, director of FSC representative office in Russia and CIS. – Investlesprom certified the majority of leased forest areas according to FSC standards , the company also introduced different kind of FSC marked products in the market . In particular in September for the first time in Russia wood houses produced by one of the group’s businesses –Sokoljskiy DOK- will be FSC marked. We express hope that strategic policy of certification will be continued. Laying out of the avenue is just the symbol of continuation for us, and possibly also a new stage of fruitful cooperation with one of the biggest amenable forest users of this country. 
JVC “Investlesprom”, governing board of Forest stewardship council (FSC) in Russia and CIS and management of “Bittsevskiy forest” park made a decision to continue cooperation also in future.
