Scandinavian model of forest management is implemented in Investlesprom

- Planning and organization of forest development will make it possible to increase by 30% the efficiency and to improve the quality of forestry keeping,- underlined Fedor Grabar, executing director of JVC “Investlesprom”’s “Forest resources” division. – We are centralizing forest management operating to standardize approaches of leased forest areas development and to popularize best existing methods in all regions of our activity. Forest management service includes Forest management department and its regional subdivisions in the territory of leased forest lands- in Republic of Karelia, Archangel’sk, Kirovsk and Vologda regions. Besides forestries are founded in regional subdivisions to organizing all processes. Such model of forest management is used in Nordic countries and provides high economic indicators and improvement of forest quality. The staff of Forest management department are moved from seven timber enterprises of the Group observing all requirements of labour legislation.
