“Vologda Paper Manufacture” Project got public approval

“Vologda Paper Manufacture” Project includes organization of 600 000 tons of coated paper production, - explains Sokol’sky PPM director, Ekaterina Kosova. – This will meet 90% coated papers need of Russia. The total investment volume is 32 mlrd. rubles, pay-back period is twelve years and a half. Direct contribution to Domestic Gross Income is 20 mlrd. rubles per year.

In the course of hearings such issues were discussed as environment impact, production wastes utilization, raw materials supply, personnel training and others. Taking into account expressed remarks and proposals authorities’ and public representatives agreed the construction of “Vologda Paper Manufacture”.
