CJVC “Tomsk plywood mill”

CJVC “Tomsk plywood mill” was founded in 2005 on the basis of material complex of wood converting mill in Asino town that included a plot of land more than 10 thous. m2 and outdated equipment. The project elaborated in 2006-2007 assumed full reconstruction of the plant. In 2008 the works of the first stage of the investment project were completed.

In July 2008 Investlesprom group became the only shareholder of the mill. During this period there was opened an additional financing of the project which goal was to bring the enterprise to its full production capacity of 18 thous. m3 of plywood per year.

New Finnish equipment was installed at Tomsk plywood mill: modern hulling line “Raute” (Finland), hydraulic press, veneer hulling line. In 2009 patch machines, finished products storehouse and packaging unit were set into operation.

Asino Plywood production is guided by Vyatsk Plywood mill (Kirov city) that is also part of Investlesprom. Specialists of parent enterprise support the mill with professional technical and administrative help by transferring the valuable experience in creation of successful plywood production enterprise. Tomsk plywood mill actively collaborates with local Employment service for the purpose of training new specialists for its production: there is an arrangement at the enterprise for probation of the local colleges’ and technical schools’ graduates.

Tomsk plywood mill is the first step to creation at the territory of the region of a complex of wood processing enterprises with the use of modern non-waste technologies. It is oriented to the consumers of both internal and external markets, first of all of Siberia region, USA and countries of Middle and South-East Asia.
