Investlesprom group: New equipment for OJSC “Muezerskii LPH”

OJSC “Muezerskii LPH” will be replenished by five new fully completed (hydro-manipulator, trailer) short log trucks Volvo. The motor transport was purchased by CJVC “Investlesprom” within investment project for logging development at northern territories of company’s lease in Karelia. Due to new equipment transferred to operational control of LLC “SLZK”, it is assumed that OJSC “Muezerskii LPH” will increase wood removal volumes this year from 150 till 190 thous. cub.m.

- Investment project assuming equipment purchase for OJSC “Muezerskii LPH” was approved by company’s management in September 2009, - tells executive director LLC “SLZK” Dmitrii Rybalko. – The purchase of fully equipped short log trucks Volvo cost about 50 mln. rubles. We plan that motor fleet renewal will let to increase volumes of removed raw materials and besides that will provide work for 12-15 people that is urgent for northern enterprises.
The problem of motor transport shortage at northern logging enterprises is solved complexly be Investlesprom company.
Firstly, in the near perspective it is planned to purchase timber trucks for one more northern logging enterprise of Investlesprom – OJSC “Lenderskii LPH”. In the beginning of June it was decided to develop project’s feasibility study.
Secondly, strategic partners (raw materials consumers) are being actively engaged at mutually beneficial terms. So in June a long term cooperation agreement was concluded with “Swedwood Karelia” company. Similar partner relationships are being established with VAPO (Finland).
- The whole increment of raw materials preparation and removal that means more than 150 thous. cub. m. per year, - adds Dmitrii Rybalko, - is directed towards realization of the largest in the industry Segezha PPM’s “Polar Bear” project.
