Partnership agreement between Karelia and Investlesprom holding was discussed

On May,
5 the Head of Republic of Karelia, Sergey Katanandov held a work meeting with
general director, JSC Investlesprom, Dmitrii Maslov. Prime-minister of Karelian
Government, Pavel Chernov, also took part in the meeting. The parties discussed
the course of implementation in 2010 of Social and economic partnership agreement
with one of the largest enterprise of the republic – Segezha pulp and paper mill, that today is a part of Investlesprom.
Besides
the mill at the territory of Karelia the holding possesses a range of LPHs
(forestry enterprises) and wood converting enterprises. The Head of Karelia,
the Prime-minister of Karelian government and General director of JSC Investlesprom
discussed the perspectives of holding’s enterprises development, in particular LLC
“Medvezh’egorsk LPH”, LLC “LDK Segezhsky” and JSC “Il’insky LZ” sawing enterprises
as well as JSC “Karelia DSP” producing wood boards.
The parties assessed the implementation of the acting agreement as satisfactory.
According to Dmitrii Maslov, JSC Investlesprom sees its tasks today in the
further strengthening of resources base of the holding in Karelia as well as in
realization of the outlined investment program at the territory of the republic
