LLC “Segezhskaya Upakovka Saransk”

In April, 2008 new paper sacks enterprise was put into operation in Saransk (Republic of Mordovia). This is also a victory for LLC “Segezhskaya Upakovka” (Segezha, Republic of Karelia). Although these two enterprises are divided territorially and legally, they became really allied during the last period of organizational and technical formation of the plant in Saransk. And every new day for Segezha and Saransk is a next step to approachment and collaboration.

Undoubtful advantage of the sack business in Saransk is its lucky disposition close to largest cement plants. That is why Saransk’s enterprise is oriented mainly for production of sacks for cement packaging. This lets to relieve overloaded lines E4 and E7 of segezha’s enterprise for production of dry mix package.

Segezha is responsible for the quality of saransk’s sack by its mark. According to specialists’ evidence today there are no claims towards the strength properties of Saransk’s sacks even from the largest consumers of “Segezhskaya Upakovka”. The volume of sacks consumed by JSC “Mordovcement” and JSC “Sebryakovcement” during a year ensures the production capacity of Saransk’s enterprise for 80%. By improving and developing themselves in future package producers from Saransk will be able to supply its products to other strategic clients. Saransk has to become an outpost of “Segezhskaya Upakovka” for Ural, Siberia and Asian region.

The proximity of the plant to central railroads and highways permits to accelerate products’ delivery to consumers. Thus sacks are shipped by motor transport to “Mordovcement” as soon as they are produced. At the end of the last year for the first time products were loaded to carriages. And this is also another step forward.
