Now Krasnokamsk PPM provides book printeries with clear pages but this is becoming
history. This year in autumn the enterprise will start production of so called light-weight
coated paper. This is the very paper that is used for world’s best magazines
printing. In Russia such production will be the first. Necessary personnel are
being selected for it – 500 people.
Local government gives its support to krasnokamsk’s papermakers. This is a
part of real actions plan of the governor, Oleg Chirkunov.
“When such enterprises work this is above all workplaces and further down
to the chain. By the way up too”, - states acting as deputy chairman of the
government of Perm’ region, Elena Guilyazova.
The down chain leads to prosperity of an individual and up chain – to general
well-being of the region. And implementing PPM’s technical reequipment,
engineers have already decided – in the highest quality paper production birch
will be used and not softwood. It is better by all parameters. So perhaps in
a couple of years the famous “Esquire” will be printed at krasnokamsk’s paper. After
all “New-York Times” did like the product of solikamsk papermakers, didn’t it?!
