National Forest Industry Company (NLK) - Virtically integrated forest industry enterprises group per scandinavian sample, includes forest industry enterprises of North-West complex of Russia which are situated mainly in Vologda region.Timber industry enterprises of NLK group log more than 1 mln. cum of business wood. Round wood processing at wood working enterprises is more than 500 thous. cum. Sawn timber production is about 250 thous. cum including 120 thous. cum for export.

JSC "Onezhskii LDK" - The main kinds of product are the export sawn timber under "ONEGA" mark (260 thous. cum per year). It is situated in the north-west of Arkangelsk region, in Onega city. About 1300 thous. people work at the mill.

PLO "Onegales" group of enterprises - Timber industry enterprises "Kargopol'les", "Yarnemales", "Onegales", "Onezhskoe LSP", "Maloshuikales", "Nimen'gales", as well as PMK-7. The area of leased timberland is 1.8 mln. ha, timber logging volume - 850 thous. cum per year.

JSC "Ecotech" - The enterprise is located in Pindushi village, Republic of Karelia, it produces furniture and furniture details from wood chipboard of JSC "Karelia DSP" premium segment. In the prospects it is planned to organize at this basis a full-scale furniture production with finished products volume of 1-2 milliards of rubles per year.

Projects of modern plywood production:

Karelia MDF (Pindushi village, Republic of Karelia) and MDF Novaya Vyatka (Novovyatsk city, Kirov region). Creation of the capacity for production of 250 thous. cum per year of MDF/HDF boards at each mill including for its own furniture manufacture and building industry finishing materials. The start-up is planned for the 4th quarter of 2010. Total investlements volume for each project is more than 5 milliard rubles.

• Tomsk plywood mill (Asino, Tomsk region)
  Generation of facilities for 22 000 cub m of plywood production per year, mostly for domestic market consumers. The first stage of the mill was put into operation in August 2006, the second stage is planned to start-up in the end of 2007. Total investments - 200 mln rubles.
• Vyatsky Plywood mill (Novovyatsk, Kirov region)
  Modern production facilities creation, capacity – 90 000 cum of plywood per year, mostly for export deliveries. Construction budget will be 2,8 bln rubles, start –up in the end of 2008.
