Here is IKEA – here are segezha packs!

LLC “Segezha Packaging” (Investlesprom Group) and IKEA Company have entered into agreement of mass paper bags supply intended for industrial goods packaging in the trading network of supermarkets of a well-known Swedish company.

Aiming at ecologically clean package IKEA decided to refuse plastic bags replacing it by paper ones. LLC “Segezha Packaging” (city of Segezha, Republic of Karelia) is not the first paper bags supplier for IKEA.  They found in this Russian company with a worthy and stable quality a more accessible alternative before foreign producers.
    Prior to contract signing during half year the IKEA staff studied thoroughly the system of production security, conditions of work at the enterprise, learned the certificates for color, glue, paper, the ecological maps of the chemicals. Before the shipment of the first finished product production run IKEA representatives made the final audit.
    The customer was satisfied with the results of the thorough examination and acknowledged officially that LLC “Segezha Packaging” complies with the requirements of the basic level of the quality maintenance system applied to the suppliers.
    Special emphasis was made on the paper bags pilling and packaging order. Nevertheless it was set to switch over to a new package of the finished products with a big quantity of items in the palette till the end of the year.
    Quality Director of LLC “Segezha Packaging” Irina Sedova thanked the enterprise’s process men who did their best for approval of the first test production run of paper bags by IKEA Company. In the near future the finished product will be sent to consumer.
    To all appearances the IKEA Company is oriented for long-term cooperation with “Segezha Packaging” producers. There was developed an activities plan for achieving the next more detailed level of finished product quality maintenance that should be implemented during the year.
    One shipment of finished product has been set so far for the period of one and a half month however in future it is planned to increase production volumes for IKEA and LLC “Segezha Packaging” will send paper bags for Company’s Trading network every month.
