On October, 4-10 2008 a X jubilee International Forest Forum will be held in Saint-Petersburg. Today the Forum is the only industry activity of federal level that joints together the representatives of forestry and wood industry complex of 19 countries. Forum’s Organizers – RF President plenipotentiary in North-West federal region, RF Federal Forestry Agency, State Enterprise “RESTEK”. Branch support to the Forum will be provided by U.N.O., Associations and Unions Confederacy of forest, pulp and paper, woodworking and furniture industries, Russian Association of Organizations “Bumprom” as well as by other leading foreign associations and unions. The Forum is held with the active support of Saint-Petersburg’s and Leningrad region Governments.
The main objective of the Forum is to form a detailed objective opinion of wood complex interested parties on the current and perspective industry development issues with elaboration of the most effective and socially-weighed decisions.
International Forest Forum 2008 will traditionally present the most relevant discussion subjects within congress & conference and business program. The best national and foreign experts of forestry and wood industry economics sector take part in the Forum program elaboration.
