PPM Kama

Today JSC “PPM “KAMA” is one of the largest paper producers in Ural’sk region. The base for every paper production cycle is modern technologies. So, for example, 10 years ago in 1994 a new pulping method was introduced at the mill — modified bisulfate at mixed natrium-magnesion basis. This permitted to increase pulp output almost by 5% and significantly reduce negative impact on atmosphere.

One of the latest achievements of kama paper makers is the implementation of the technology of hardwood usage at chemical-thermo-mechanical pulp production. The addition of this modern intermediate product into paper mass composition instead of cellulose increases paper strength indicators and makes paper production ecologically cleaner.

At global market the quality of newsprint issued by the enterprise has been acknowledged since 1995 and was confirmed by prestige prize “Golden Star” in Madrid (Spain).

Products produced by JSC “PPM “KAMA”:

News print, newsprint “plump”, offset № 1 for printing of newspapers, books and mass polygraphic products;
wrapping paper for package;
electrode pulp for welding electrodes production, as well as for usage as fiberfill for construction pastes;
liquid lignosulphonates of “B” mark, powder-like and modified, used in foundry as an addition to sand blends, in construction – as plasticizer of cement and concrete.
