Investlesprom holding acquired one more forest industry enterprise – “Medvezhiegorsk LPH (timber industry enterprise)” (MLPH). During two years the new owner intends to invest into MLPH’s modernization and its credits’ restructuring more than 600 mln. rubles. 

How loggers should conserve the forest?
The organizers are NPO ”SPOK” and LLC “SLZK”. Loggers and ecologists were united by forest nature conservation problem.
Until recently wood harvesting meant complete destruction of forest as ecological super organism. But forest needs to be protected both as recoverable natural resource and as natural habitat. And not only in reserves and protected areas but also at the territory leased by loggers. This is required by voluntary forest certification of enterprises that became relevant in Europe in the end of 90s. SLZK certified according to FSC system must implement a range of activities for animate nature biodiversity conservation.
