Enterprises of “Investlesprom” holding and its contractors do not harvest at specially preserved natural territories (SPNT) of Karelia both existing and planned. This was told in the letter of chief of certification direction, JVC “Investlesprom”, Oleg Konushatov, to the management of local public organization (LPO) “SPOK” in connection with publication of forest leasers’ ecological responsibility ranking (over the republic). 

The signs of crisis’ acute phase ending became obvious in the country; the crisis that badly hit its economy and as a consequence all other vitally important interests of the state and problems of its citizens. A gradual production volumes increase has outlined in various fields of economy. First of all such positive shifts are necessary and important for large enterprises who suffered from the crisis the most. In our region such enterprise is particle board production plant. And it is naturally that the economic situation in Medvezhiegorsk region on the whole depends on whether successful or not is the state of this enterprise. Taking into account these circumstances we decided to interview executive director, OJSC “Karelia DSP”, Andrey Borisovich Kochetkov
